Welcome to JRR, LLC, better known as, Just Right Ranch, owned and operated by Derek, Angie and our son Coy in Custer, South Dakota. We dedicate ourselves to the equine program producing quality foals and overall Traditional Gypsy Cobs. After doing so much research we found the lineage that we wanted to start our herd for quality and consistency. This has been a lifelong dream of ours from a very young age. We were finally able to accomplish it through wonderful communication and friendships along the way with our cohorts in England, who I cherish very much. We imported our whole herd from the Down’s Family with SD Cobs. The world of Gypsy Cobs is an amazing one. This has been a dream of ours for over 20 years. We did so much research on the breed and found out there are different variations of Gypsy Cobs in looks, temperament, bone, girth and heavy feathering. All of which you will want in your Gypsy Cob. We adore our horses and love them so much it shows through each of the gypsies we have and the care we give them.

We are nestled in the heart of the Black Hills in South Dakota. Beautiful views, hills, valley’s running through our property. The horses are so happy and love it here.
